Yes! You should still be able to use the most basic features of the application with tons of enhancements inside it like faster video and image rendering!

How Many Computers can I use this for?

As many as 14! You can register up to 2 computers per day. This is more than enough to use within your household!

How to Begin

So here's a two step on how you will start the application.

  1. Select a face (browse any face that you want to use)
  2. Press live!

After pressing live, a preview window will then appear showing your face replaced with the face you picked.

Other Settings

You want to know the bells of whistles of Dee-Live-Cam?

  1. Generate face - It just creates a random face for you. Just enable it and randomize if you can't find a face that suits you!
  2. Map Faces - This allows you to easily map faces if you have multiple faces and you want each face to be different. This is quite resource intensive.
  3. Many faces - Allows you to use the face you choose to ALL the face it detected
  4. Fix bluish cam - Allows you to make the color better if your preview is a bit bluish. Usually an issue with professional grade cameras.
  5. Mouth mask - Shows your real mouth instead of the deepfaked mouth. This gives you more control on the mouth like when you show your tongue or when you touch your mouth/lips frequently.
  6. Show FPS - Shows frame per second on the preview screen
  7. Face enhancer - Allows you to use gfpgan upscaling. This will make your face look better but is not yet ready for realtime as it is very slow.
  8. Show mask outline - This will just show the outline of the mouth mask
  9. Frameskip buffer - makes the FPS smoother faster but gives a bit of delay
  10. Face swap models - Allows you to switch between Inswapper (128x128) and HyperSwap (256x256)
  11. Opacity - Allows you to adjust opacity, can be a good way to combine your face with the swapped face. Or slowly fades your face to the swapped face.
  12. Sharpness - Makes the face look sharper, this is good on inswapper to make it look more natural
  13. Forehead - Allows you to adjust the forehead swapping, Helps a lot on adjustment if you have long hair.
  14. Start - Allows you to swap selected face and selected target image/video
  15. Preview - Allows you to preview the swapping in case you want to swap videos/image
  16. Destroy - Destroys the temporary files created while swapping images/video
  17. Select camera - Allows you to switch cameras
  18. Live - This is what you press when you want to do live swapping.

My Laptop isn't using my Nvidia GPU

Usually the laptop's default settings is to save power, to enable the GPU to be always active, you need to change it from the settings.

  1. Open Nvidia Control Panel
  2. Go to Manage 3D settings -> preferred graphics processor
  3. Select High performance NVIDIA processor

Github Version is faster than Quickstart

You can run it just like the github version instead of using the batch file. The reason for that is we have created an environment compatible with older GPUs as well to ensure compatibility. But if you have created an environment before, you can just copy all the files except the environment and just overwrite your old github version (make sure to make a backup). It should run as fast as your github version with all the bells and whistles of the latest version.
